Just because a person carries it well doesn't mean it's not heavy.

We all carry something within us that is heavy. We can all be quick to judge others. I have done it myself. Being presumptuous is ungracious. We do not know the struggles another carries on their shoulders.

Treating everyone with kindness, is something that we all try to do everyday. This starts with showing kindness to yourself.

During this pandemic, I'm sure I'm not alone, when I say I have felt a rollercoaster of emotions.

Sometimes, even though we are doing our best, when we are struggling inside ourselves, it can be challenging to show patience, understanding and compassion for others.

Our mental health is so important for our wellbeing. Finding an enjoyable activity to help us to relax, and feel positive, enables us to be present for ourselves and for those around us.

Self-care is giving the world the best of you, instead of what's left of you - Katie Reed

Yoga is a practice of self-care. It's always there for you. No matter what is going on in the world, or in your life. It's a safe place. A sacred place, where you can just breathe and move.

Yoga is so much more than asanas. The physical challenges make you clear your mind and connect to your inner strength and resilience, breathing through the frustration of balances, trusting yourself to do inversions, facing the fear of falling.

Yoga is a journey of the self through the self to the self - The Bhagavad Gita

We are each unique, what we need is individual and that is what makes us special and complex. Yoga gently nurtures the individual person that you are. We can each take whatever we need from it. It's a continuous journey of growth, learning about the world and yourself with kindness and humility both on, and off the mat.

Always remember that self-care is productive. I hope that you can try yoga and feel it's positive benefits.

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion. - Dalai Lama

Be kind and go with the flow.
